Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and Digital Repository (“Kathmandu University”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Kathmandu University Digital Repository (the “Repository” or “Site”).

By accessing or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, including any future amendments.

Purpose of the Repository

  • To manage and provide open access to Kathmandu University’s digital academic resources.
  • To collect, preserve, and disseminate theses, reports, journals, articles, and other scholarly works.
  • To enhance accessibility to academic materials for students, scholars, and researchers.
  • To facilitate online access and promote academic collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • To ensure long-term preservation of the University’s intellectual output.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, all materials made available through this Site, including texts, images, datasets, and metadata (collectively, the “Content”), are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws of the United States and applicable international conventions.

Copyright in individual items remains with the respective authors or rights holders. Content is made available primarily under open access principles for educational, research, and non-commercial use, unless otherwise stated.

User Responsibilities
